ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — On Wednesday, Albertsons Market and Storehouse Food Bank of New Mexico launched a new donate-at-the-register fundraiser campaign allowing community members to make donations to the food bank when they shop.
From April 28 to May 10, guests of any Albertsons Market in Albuquerque and surrounding communities can donate money at the register that will benefit Storehouse Food Bank of New Mexico. It is as simple as adding a dollar or more to the grocery bill when checking out.
“We are so excited to begin this fundraiser with such an amazing community partner,” said Travis Chaney, regional vice president for Albertsons Market. “Storehouse is a pillar of this community and we look forward to helping raise funds for them. We are blessed to be in a position to contribute to their mission of helping those who are dealing with food insecurity during this difficult time.”
