United Express fuel & convenience stores set to launch fundraiser for Special Olympics

  • LUBBOCK, Texas — United Express fuel and convenience stores across the region are launching a donate-at-the-register fundraiser campaign to help raise money for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. To help kick-off the campaign, Special Olympics athletes as well as law enforcement personnel, will be visiting various locations to engage with guests about the campaign on Thursday, June 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  

     

    Media is invited for availability with Special Olympic athletes as well as law enforcement personnel at the United Express located on 114th Street and Slide Road.

    United Express has been a proud supporter of the Special Olympics since 2015 and it continues its support through fundraising efforts as well as volunteering at events. During that time, United Express and The United Family have raised more the $100,000 for Special Olympics chapters across the region.

    As in the past, guests can contribute to the fundraiser by adding any dollar amount to their bill at check out in any of the participating United Express locations.
