Market Street to donate more than 50,000 pounds of apples across Texas & New Mexico

Concho Valley Food Bank to receive 1,080 lbs. of apples

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Market Street, as part of The United Family, will donate 1,080 pounds of apples to the Concho Valley Food Bank on Wednesday, April 19 at 11:30 a.m. Media members are invited to attend.

Now in its thirteenth year, this donation marks a continuing commitment by The United Family as an original partner of the Take a Bite Out of Hunger™ program, sponsored by FirstFruits Farms. FirstFruits created the program to help feed the underserved while also bringing attention to the problem of food insecurity in the United States.

Throughout the week, United Family stores throughout Texas and New Mexico will donate more than 50,000 pounds of apples to various food banks and other organizations.
