Market Street Kicks Off Turkey Bucks in San Angelo, Fundraiser to Fight Food Insecurity During the Holidays

SAN ANGELO, Texas — On Wednesday, the Market Street in San Angelo launched their annual program, Turkey Bucks.

Turkey Bucks is a program designed to help raise money for those dealing with food insecurity as the holiday season approaches. As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around Texas, the need will be greater than ever this year.

Guests of Market Street stores will have the opportunity to make a donation at the register when they are finished shopping. It is as easy as ever to help neighbors this holiday season.

“We are so excited to once again kick off Turkey Bucks this holiday season,” said Mark Yowell, regional vice president for the United Family. “It means the world to us to be in a position to help families who are dealing with food insecurity during this time of the year. We encourage our guests to donate what they can.”

The donations will go to the Concho Valley Food Bank.
