Market Street Launches Fundraising Effort in DFW Benefiting Children’s Health

LUBBOCK, Texas — On Thursday, April 8, Market Street launched a 12-day fundraising effort in the Dallas-Ft. Worth and Brownwood communities.

From April 7 to April 18, guests of Market Street in the Dallas-Ft. Worth and Brownwood communities can donate money at the register that will benefit Children’s Health. It is as simple as adding a dollar to the grocery bill when checking out.

“We are so excited to begin this fundraiser with such an amazing community partner,” said Robert Bollinger, regional vice president for Market Street. “Children’s Health is a pillar in the D-FW communities and we look forward to raising money for them. We are blessed to be in a position to contribute to their mission of helping children.”

As one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric health care providers in the country and North Texas, Children’s Health cares for children through more than 750,000 patient visits annually. By donating to Children’s Health, guests help fund life-changing treatments, groundbreaking research and high-quality care to patients.

“The most courageous superheroes aren’t found on the big screen. They’re at Children’s Health battling cancer, heart disease, trauma, and everyday injuries,” said Brent Christopher, president of the Children’s Medical Center Foundation. “Our patients depend on a league of extraordinary care to support them. We are thrilled to have Market Street help us raise funds and join our Red Balloon League to help us defend and protect our patient heroes.”
