FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On March 15, The United Family established a temporary appreciation pay program for team members working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hourly pay was increased by $2 per hour, above and beyond regular paid time and overtime.
After several extensions, the company announced on June 15 that the temporary appreciation pay program would be coming to an end. However, we weren’t finished saying thank you to our amazing team members.
A final reward payment will be given to team members who worked on the frontlines. Which is equal to $4 per hour for average hours worked per week between March 15 and June 13.
Team members who averaged less than 15 hours a week will be credited with a minimum average of 15 hours per week. Salaried team members who received temporary appreciation pay will be rewarded with a final payment of $200 above their regular pay.
These final reward payments will be given to team members on June 26.
The United Family is grateful for the work done by team members during the difficult circumstances of the past three months. They make everyone proud to be a part of the United Family.
