ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albertsons Market will present Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home with a check for $10,000 on Thursday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time at Albertsons Market (6200 Coors Rd NW).
This donation will go to help further Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home’s mission of caring for school-aged children who have been neglected, abused or in need of supervision. The non-profit’s origin story begins 50 years ago when members of University Church of Christ had a dream to open a foster center.
From its inception to now, Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home has given care to over 600 children and helped over 200 families.
