ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — On Wednesday, Albertsons Market and Market Street presented the Salvation Army Southwest Division with a check for $47,748.17.
This donation represents the culmination of a fundraising campaign by Albertson Market and Market Street stores in New Mexico where guests could add money to their grocery bill at the register.
Travis Chaney, regional vice president for the United Family, said he feels immense gratitude to guests across New Mexico for their help supporting the Salvation Army this holiday season.
“I can’t thank our guests enough,” Chaney said. “This is no small amount of money and it will have a tremendous impact in our communities this holiday season and beyond. We all know the need to be greater than ever this year and we are blessed to be in a position to help an incredible organization like the Salvation Army.”
