(Albuquerque, New Mexico) – Albertsons Market will have a check presentation at the Roadrunner Food Bank on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m. MT at 5840 Office Blvd in Albuquerque.
In July, Albertsons Market ran a register campaign to give guests an opportunity to donate to the food bank by adding additional money to their grocery bill.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, food banks all across the country have been dealing with unprecedented demand as more and more people fall victim to food insecurity. The funds raised through this campaign will go to help those in the surrounding communities who are dealing with that very thing.
In an effort to keep everyone safe, we remind our friends and partners in the media to wear a mask at the event as we also observe social distancing guidelines.
